Prime Minister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman arrived at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan at 2:45 PM on Saturday to lead a massive procession marking National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
Before flagging off the procession, the BNP chief will address a short rally gathered in front of the central office. Since Saturday morning, Nayapaltan and surrounding areas have been buzzing with thousands of party leaders and activists arriving in small processions from across the capital and various districts.
A festive mood swept across Paltan as members of the BNP and its affiliate organizations—including Sramik Dal, Krishak Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal—gathered with party flags, banners, and festoons, chanting slogans.
