Bangladesh men’s cricket team will tour England for a historic one-off Test match at Lord’s in May 2027, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed on Thursday as part of its international fixtures.

The Test, scheduled to begin on 28 May at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, will mark Bangladesh’s first men’s Test in England since 2010.

Alongside the men’s tour, the Bangladesh women’s team will also travel to England later that year for a six-match white-ball series comprising three Vitality T20 Internationals and three Metro Bank One Day Internationals.

ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould welcomed Bangladesh’s return to England, saying both tours would strengthen the cricketing ties between the two nations.

“We are excited to welcome Bangladesh Men for a one-off Test at Lord’s, which will be the first time we have played them at home in a Test since 2010 while also hosting Bangladesh Women in a white-ball series,” Gould said in the ECB release.

The women’s tour will begin with the opening T20I at Northampton on 8 September before the second and third matches are played in Taunton and Worcester on 10 and 12 September respectively.

The teams will then switch to the ODI format, with matches scheduled at Hove on 17 September, Canterbury on 21 September and Chelmsford on 24 September.
