The marriage of popular Bangladeshi actress Moushumi Hamid has reportedly ended amid allegations of her husband’s extramarital involvement.
Moushumi had married writer and playwright Abu Sayeed Rana in a family-arranged ceremony on January 12, 2024. Sources say the couple had been living separately since November 2025 due to ongoing personal disputes.
While she has not spoken in detail to the media, Moushumi confirmed the separation, saying, “There is some truth to what you have heard, but I am not in the mental state to speak in detail at this moment.”
According to insiders, prolonged personal tensions and alleged misunderstandings surrounding Rana’s private relationships contributed to the breakdown of the marriage. Legal steps for formal divorce have reportedly been initiated.
