He earned the recognition for his outstanding leadership, communication initiatives, and impactful work in promoting health and well-being.Last year, Anica Hossain, a student at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) pursuing a Master’s in Communication, won the same Global Student of the Year Award at the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) in Bali, Indonesia.

The Global Alliance World Public Relations and Communication Awards is a highly competitive international platform that celebrates the most outstanding national and international public relations and communication management programs and case studies. This year’s competition received over 89 entries from 19 countries across the globe, with awards presented across 24 diverse categories.

Reflecting on his achievement, Ryan emphasized that his work in public health advocacy played a central role in earning the recognition.

He shared: “Growing up, I witnessed how malnutrition and poor health hold people back in Bangladesh. That inspired me to work with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being to help ensure healthier lives for all. My plan was simple, to uplift others and help them live healthier and stronger lives.”

The formal presentation of trophies to the winners will take place during the Global Alliance World Public Relations Forum 2026 (WPRF), scheduled for November 15–21, 2026 in Abuja, Nigeria.
