Students of Dhaka University clashed with doctors at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday afternoon, disrupting emergency services.
The clash reportedly began over a minor dispute involving a change of medication for a Dhaka University student, which led to an altercation between intern doctors and students.At one stage, the argument escalated into a clash between the two sides, leaving several people injured.
Following the incident, treatment services at the hospital’s emergency department were suspended.
