A woman died after falling from a moving motorcycle in Patnitala upazila of Naogaon on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Jakia Afrin, 50, wife of Joynal Abedin from Kholishakandi village in Shahjahanpur upazila of Bogura.
According to local residents and hospital sources, the accident occurred around noon at Balugha Mor on the Nazipur–Sapahar road. Jakia reportedly fell off the motorcycle and died on the spot. Locals rushed her to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
Dr Debashish Roy, residential medical officer at Patnitala Health Complex, said she had died before being brought to the facility.
