A 16-year-old motorcyclist, Md. Siam, was killed after being hit by a microbus in Lalmohan Upazila, Bhola, on Thursday evening. The accident occurred on the Bhola-Charfassion Regional Highway near Forajir Dokan.
The deceased, Md. Siam, was the son of Md. Babul Munsi of Ward No. 3, Kachia Union, Borhanuddin Upazila.
Siam’s father, Babul Munsi, said, “In the afternoon, one of my relatives passed away in Lalmohan. Hearing the news, I set out in the evening with my wife and son on a motorcycle to attend the funeral. When we reached Forajir Dokan area, a microbus coming from the front hit our motorcycle. We fell onto the road, and my son sustained a severe head injury after colliding with the microbus. Locals rescued us and took us to Lalmohan Upazila Health Complex, where the duty doctor declared my son dead after examining him.”
Lalmohan Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Md. Sirajul Islam, said, “A police team has been sent to the scene, and legal action is underway regarding the incident.”
