Fact-checking organisation Rumour Scanner has concluded that a viral personal video involving Jamaat-e-Islami MP Gazi Nazrul Islam is authentic and not generated using artificial intelligence (AI).
The organisation disclosed its findings in a post published on its verified Facebook page on Tuesday.
According to Rumour Scanner, numerous social media posts had claimed that the viral video featuring Gazi Nazrul Islam, the Jamaat-e-Islami lawmaker from Satkhira-4, was created using AI technology. However, its investigation found no evidence to support those claims.
The fact-checking organisation said its analysis identified no visual inconsistencies in the full-length video. It also found no anomalies in the audio that would indicate AI manipulation or digital fabrication.
