Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has joined a conference of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers (UHFPOs).
The conference began at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium at 11am on Saturday, organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.This marks the first time Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has held a meeting with Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers.
The conference has been arranged to modernize the activities of UHFPOs in delivering healthcare services to people’s doorsteps, to review overall field-level operations, and to provide government directives.
Among those present are Health Minister Sardar Sakhawat Hossain Bakul, State Minister Dr MA Muhit, Secretary of the Health Services Division Mohammad Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, and Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services Professor Dr Prabhat Chandra Biswas, along with other officials.
On the occasion, the prime minister handed over awards to the best-performing Upazila Health and Family Planning Officers.
