A labour court in Dhaka today granted bail to Navana Group Vice Chairman Sajedul Islam Shuvro, hours after being arrested in a case filed over violating labour laws.
Chairman Md Golam Azam of the Labour Court-1 passed the order, following Shuvro’s bail petition, said a court employee.Earlier in the day, police arrested Shuvro from his residence in Dhaka’s Banani area around 7:00am, said Mahbubur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station.
