MRM Ventures Ltd. has unveiled a new range-extended electric SUV, Ranger Reev, in Bangladesh, marking another step in the country’s growing electric vehicle market.
The vehicle, developed by China’s automotive brand FODAY, was introduced on March 15 at the company’s second showroom, Me Gallery, in Tejgaon.

The event was attended by the company’s Managing Director Md Mohtasim Al Rafid, advisers Abul Khayer Sardar and H M Sohel and Head of Marketing Munirul Islam, along with media representatives, corporate stakeholders and automobile enthusiasts.

Marketed as an executive SUV suitable for everyday use, the Ranger Reev features a dual-fuel range-extended electric system that can deliver a total driving range of more than 700 kilometres.

The vehicle offers an all-electric driving range of up to 160 kilometres for daily commuting, while its octane-powered range extender can add up to 540 kilometres for longer journeys.

The SUV produces 120 kW of power and 320 Newton metres of torque, enabling it to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in about 10.2 seconds.

Designed with a focus on performance, safety and comfort, the Ranger Reev uses the industry-standard FinDreams blade battery technology. The interior features a spacious cabin layout equipped with a 12-inch infotainment display and a sunroof.

The vehicle will be available in six colours — Fox Snow White, Champions Silver, Diamond Silver, Reluset, Sea Blue and Power Black — with an estimated price of Tk 55 lakh.

The warranty package includes six years or 120,000 kilometres for the traction battery, six years or 130,000 kilometres for the motor, and up to five years for the complete vehicle. The first 50 customers placing orders will also receive free registration.

With the launch, MRM Ventures said it aims to expand Bangladesh’s electric vehicle portfolio. The company has previously introduced the Elight sedan from JMEV, which offers a range of about 500 kilometres on a single charge, as well as the four-seater mini EVs BAGEL and PUDDING from BAW, each capable of travelling up to 220 kilometres per charge.

The company said it remains committed to making advanced and sustainable mobility solutions more accessible to consumers across Bangladesh.
