Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will begin on July 2 across the country simultaneously.
The decision was taken at a meeting, chaired by Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan, held at the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Education Ministry on Saturday.
In a first, this year’s HSC exams will be conducted with unified question papers across all 11 education boards, including nine general boards, as well as madrasa and technical boards.
Previously, only madrasa and technical boards followed a common question system, while general boards used separate papers.
