The Ministry of Public Administration has withdrawn the deputy commissioners (DCs) and district magistrates of five districts and issued an official notification in this regard.
The order was issued on Sunday through a notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Jeti Pru of the ministry.
According to the notification, the concerned officials have been withdrawn from their positions as deputy commissioners and district magistrates and attached to the Ministry of Public Administration for subsequent postings.The withdrawn officials are Mohammad Alam Hossain of Gazipur, Kazi Md Sayemuzzaman of Panchagarh, Md Iqbal Hossain of Kushtia, Md Saifur Rahman of Netrokona and Md Shahadat Hossain Masud of Chapainawabganj.
The notification stated that the order has been issued in the public interest and will take immediate effect.
