The government on Monday ordered the deployment of Army troops at the main oil storage depots in the country to prevent untoward incidents amid growing consumer fears of a supply crisis.
The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources issued a statement, saying some oil storage facilities have been recently reporting heightened demand among dealers and a failure to meet the excessive demand.
