Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has said that the issue of forming a constitutional reform council may be discussed on the floor of the National Parliament.
He made the remarks on Saturday while speaking to journalists after a meeting of the Parliamentary Business Advisory Committee at the parliament building in Dhaka.The minister said the meeting discussed the duration of the upcoming parliamentary session, the issues to be debated, the laws to be placed before the House, and the number of hours to be allocated for discussion on the president’s address.
He also said that after Sunday’s sitting, parliament will be adjourned for the Eid al-Fitr holidays and is scheduled to reconvene on 29 March.
