Former captain of the national football team and convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Aminul Haque has received a call from the Cabinet Division to take oath as a State Minister.
Although he contested the recent parliamentary election from Dhaka-16, he was not elected. Despite his defeat, he is set to join the government under the technocrat quota.
