State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salauddin Tuku has alleged that the previous government showed negligence in procuring measles vaccines on time, putting the public at risk.
He made this remarks on Monday after inaugurating a measles-rubella vaccination campaign at the municipal park in Tangail.

According to the state minister, the current government arranged the vaccines under the direction of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, and he expressed appreciation and thanks to all those involved in the effort.

He further criticized the previous administration, saying their lack of responsibility had exposed the population to health risks.

However, Tuku added that due to the initiatives taken by the present government, measles vaccines have already been distributed across the country.
