Bangladesh on Wednesday welcomed the temporary ceasefire in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, describing it as an encouraging step towards de-escalation in the region.
In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that all parties concerned would respect the ceasefire and use the opportunity constructively to work towards a durable and sustainable resolution, restoring long-term peace and stability.Bangladesh also appreciated the diplomatic efforts of all parties involved in facilitating the ceasefire.
Reiterating its position, Dhaka emphasised that all disputes should be resolved peacefully through dialogue and diplomacy.
