The government has relieved Sk Bashir Uddin from the post of chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines following his resignation, according to an official notification issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
A gazette notification, issued on Wednesday by the Biman-1 branch of the ministry, said Bashir Uddin has been released from his responsibilities as chairman of the Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.On 16 February, the then adviser of the civil aviation and tourism ministry, Sk Bashir Uddin, submitted his resignation from the post of chairman of the national flag carrier.
Bashir Uddin had been appointed chairman of the state-owned airline through a government notification issued on 26 August last year.
