The government on Monday appointed five lawyers as deputy attorneys general.
A notification in this regard was issued by the Solicitor wing of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
The appointees are: Md Abdus Samad, Malay Kumar Rai, Md Shafiqul Islam, Md Isa, and Md Obaidur Rahman (Tarek).
Md Isa and Md Obaidur had been serving as assistant attorneys general.
