BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been shifted from her hospital cabin to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) for closer monitoring, party sources confirmed on Thursday. Shairul Kabir, a member of BNP’s media cell, provided the update.
Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Sunday night (November 23) at around 8 pm.
Her personal physician and BNP Standing Committee member, Dr. A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain, said, “I visited Evercare Hospital at 1 pm today to check on her health. Under the supervision of a medical board comprising local and international specialists, she is receiving intensive care in the CCU.”
The party has requested the nation to pray for Khaleda Zia’s speedy recovery.
