Demand for Lily Body Lotion has surged ahead of the winter season, prompting its manufacturer, Remark HB Limited, to review production plans and prepare for additional raw material procurement.
The company said it had exceeded its initial production targets and supplied significantly higher volumes to modern retail outlets this month compared with the same period last year. Promotional offers, including “Buy One, Get One Free,” have also helped attract customers.
Mohammad Helal Uddin, executive director of Remark’s modern trade channel, said the company was supplying products to major retail chains, including Shwapno, Meena Bazar, Agora, and Unimart. Remark expects its body lotion sales to exceed Tk 7 crore this season, he added.
Mohammad Rubel, the company’s national sales director, said nationwide sales operations were being strengthened amid rising consumer interest in Lily Body Lotion.
K M Sadman Saeed, a director of Remark, said production plans were being reassessed to meet growing demand.
“Despite producing more than our initial target, demand has continued to rise. We are preparing to procure additional raw materials and increase production,” he said.
Retailers in Dhaka said customers had already started purchasing body lotions ahead of winter, with affordability, product quality, and promotional offers influencing buying decisions.
Remark said it was prioritizing product quality, competitive pricing, and adequate supplies to meet demand during the upcoming winter season.
