Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed today said almost all the accused in criminal cases lodged during past six months have been arrested.
“The BNP government has completed six months in office and during this period, there has not been a single incident after which law enforcement agencies failed to arrest the accused,” he said.
He made the remarks at a milad and doa mahfil in front of BNP’s Nayapaltan central office here today marking the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH).
Referring to the much-discussed recent murder in Rangpur, Salahuddin said the accused were arrested within a reasonable time after the incident.
