Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today emphasized the importance of adopting a realistic plan to expand the ‘Family Card’ programme nationwide in phases, ensuring the best use of modern technology, and strengthening effective coordination among all relevant ministries and agencies.
He laid the importance at a meeting on the nationwide expansion plan and implementation strategy for the Family Card programme. The prime minister himself chaired the meeting at the Cabinet Division in the Bangladesh Secretariat here, said PM’s Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony.
