Prime Minister’s Adviser and Prime Minister’s Office spokesperson Mahdi Amin has said the government is committed to making Bangladesh a private sector-led economy by reducing the cost of doing business, promoting economic liberalisation and creating a more investment-friendly environment.
Speaking at the 31st Annual Council of 2025 of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Bangladesh, Mahdi said the government would soon complete its first 180 days in office and had already achieved several key policy objectives.
