The preliminary stage of the 50th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination held on Friday, with tests began at 10:00 AM simultaneously in 190 centres across Dhaka and seven other divisional cities.
According to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), a total of 290,952 candidates applied for the exam. The recruitment drive aims to appoint 2,150 officers to various government positions.
It is noteworthy that the preliminary examination of the 50th BCS marks the beginning of the “1 BCS, 1 Year” initiative.
