Three more people died with measles-like symptoms in the country in the last 24 hours till 8am on Wednesday.
With the new fatalities, the total number of suspected measles deaths rose to 596, while the tally of laboratory-confirmed measles deaths remained unchanged at 93, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the period, DGHS recorded an additional 996 suspected measles cases and 93 confirmed cases, bringing the totals to 96,760 and 11,390, respectively, from 15 March till Wednesday morning.
