Two more Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh have died in Saudi Arabia, raising the total death toll to six.
According to the Hajj bulletin, a total of 36,996 pilgrims from Bangladesh reached Saudi Arabia on 92 flights between April 17—when Hajj flights began—and Monday.Of them, 3,284 pilgrims travelled under government arrangements, while 33,712 went through private agencies.
Among the flights operated so far, 40 were run by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 34 by Saudi Airlines, and 18 by Flynas.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines transported 16,587 pilgrims, Saudi Airlines carried 12,860, and Flynas transported 7,549 pilgrims.
The bulletin also confirmed that all six deaths reported so far were due to natural causes.
